But Why? (About Me)
Founder

Molly Weber
Hi! My name is Molly and I am the founder (if you could call it that) of Don’t Doodle It! I’ve always been very passionate about dogs, ever since I could speak the word dog, I was asking for one! After BEGGING my parents for years (with the help of my 6 other siblings), we finally convinced them to get a puppy, a beautiful German Shepherd/Australian Cattle dog mix straight from the pound. We named him Rudy.

After we got Rudy, we decided he needed a friend to play with during the day while the kids were at school and my parents were at work, so, we picked up a Siberian Husky/miscellaneous hound mix. We named him Kyle.

Kyle was my baby, my soul dog. Kyle was the best dog I ever had (no offense to Rudy, I loved them equally when I had them both), he was sweet to pretty much anyone and he had the goofiest little smile. After Rudy passed away in 2024, we had Kyle until he ultimately passed a little over a year after his brother, in August 2025.
After Kyle’s passing, I’ve been relentlessly begging my mother for a dog, but to no avail (…yet). So, I decided to start researching dogs and dog breeds and the ethics of different dog breeders. That is what got me here! I realized how many people around me had “doodles” and unethical designer mixes and it made me feel a need to educate others. I started to do research more extensively, reading articles from dog trainers and vets and the AKC. I looked into dog clubs and dog showing all around me and realized why this issue was so important. So that is my why on Don’t Doodle It. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me!
Much love,
